The only people I invite to my home are aiming for the bedroom.

For general social things other people have better laid out houses with less chaotic large dogs, so friend and family gatherings are held elsewhere.

If someone is staying over then it is in my room 💜

I have 5 or 6 of them.

Some in bedrooms.

Some are currently in my hallway, as I'm pretending to be busy today.

Because my washing machine is in its own little room off my hallway.

Because that's where you take your clothes of to clean yourself. It's a very logical place for it.

Now I'm old and civilised it's just a boring basket in the corner of the bedroom, but as a kid it was so different, mysterious and mind blowing...

Me and my brother had a magic landing!🪄 Would throw your clothes on the landing, they'd disappear, then a day or so later they'd re-appear all clean and ironed in your wardrobe!!
