FabSwingers.com forum: Failed in PDI

After very much research, We went out tonight in PDI to get into swinging. We went into the comeback bar, then tried Fun4all @ 10pm which was empty, then, went to Plan B for a drink and back to Fun4all @ past midnight which was again completely empty. We went to Tantra it was closed. We are feeling a little deflated after spending so much time choosing outfits etc. How does everyone know which club ppl are going to? on here? some other group? Any help would be really appreciated, we have been planning and looking forward to this for so long we cannot believe how badly we failed last night, so much prep and nothing to show

Having owned/managed clubs for circa 5 years, if I had a pound for every time someone asked “will it be busy on …..” then I’d have retired long ago!

You simply never know how busy or entertaining any swingers night (or day) will be, it’s entirely dependent upon who turns up and when.

I’ve experienced some of the best nights with half a dozen people in the club, paradoxically occasions when it’s rammed and there’s no atmosphere.

Enjoy yourselves regardless and have zero expectations of playing with anyone other than each other; anything else adds the sprinkles on the cake!

What I would say is, no two nights are ever the same, so if an opportunity presents itself and you’re comfortable then “go for it”, because the same opportunity/situation may never come around again.

Enjoy each other and what will be, will be

It’s quieter in PDI this time of year. October and March are probably the busiest months and some swingers clubs close during the summer.

When it’s busy you’ll often see status posts from fellow fab members saying where they will be. Also take a look in the Spain section of the forum.

Like most places the weekends are busier too so fingers crossed you’ll find some fun.

Head down to the naturists area of the beach too, there’s almost always fab members there

Never been to PDI but would it be because it's midweek?

One of my partners and I went to Tenerife in January and the club there was rammed wall to wall on the Saturday night. Maybe a weekend visit will give a completely different result? 🤷‍♂️

Thanks a lot for the tips … we will certainly try 3/4 , can we expect some fun ( cap d’agde like) or is it more chill ?
