J and I have had a few weeks of clubs, a meet and then not really seeing each other. This swinging couple stuff is really new to me. Do couples who meet regularly or club regularly sometimes say, fuck it I want some us time?

I'm aware that its possibly different for us as we met swinging and haven't come into swinging as a couple, but I would just like some advice.

Do what feels right and talk to each other about what you both want

I've read on here that a lot of couples take time out to just be a couple when they first get together. I'd say do what works for you. If you both need time out from clubs etc then do that.

Talk to him and see what he says as a couple it will do you good to spend a bit of time together.

I think no matter how you meet, if you are a couple and in love then yes, there's no reason why you both wouldn't some time for just the two of you ......... I for one would crave it if that was me

We were both extremely innocent when we met. We have been swinging for about four years now.

We only swing every six - eight weeks so we have plenty of us time in between.

Although when the mood properly gets hold we can go on a bit of a splurge and arrange a couple of meets for the same week.

We usually only go on meets about twice a month or every other weekend, hubby would be very happy to go out EVERY weekend but I put my foot down.

I think it can be very addictive, especially if we have had a very good meet it makes me want to go out and do it again

But I don't want swinging to take over our lives, it is after all, just a bit of fun.

While we both go to chams together etc we rarely play with other people. We are naturally for each other to do so but it doesn't happen often. We don't get to see each other all the time and most of the time when we do its just us.

We met through swinging, but our relationship comes first, then swingings.

What comes first is all the normal things you do in a relationship, date, go out for days, meals, away on holiday.

Id hate to think that our relationship was based on the swinging side of things

We met through this site have been together almost two years and live apart. We definitely take time out for each other and if either one of us thought that swinging was eating into 'our' time we would not arrange to meet. It is hard to sometimes balance everything but one of our stipulations of a meet is to have time together after after for cuddles, sex and naughty talk about the events of the meet. It's actually one of the favourite things about swinging that special couple time after.

As others have said, we love us time, havent actively been seeking meets for a.few weeks, did have one pkanned for last friday that went pair shaped, and if im honest didnt bother me.

We don't do clubs. But every so often do do just push it to one side and have a few weeks or more were it is just is 2 and don't come on here at all then. As this is just an added extra to our relationship and isn't the be all and end all. We find its nice just to have some quality time with out this and then when we do come back we enjoy it even more
