A guy asked me this morning if I fancied going to a spa with him so I tried my swimming costume on to see if it fits.

I've still not taken it off as it's only 7 hours since he asked me! 😱

What random acts of laziness have you so skillfully played out lately?

Using spit instead of lube as I couldn't be arsed (pun fully int'ended) to go to the shop at 7 this morning to buy a tube. Or even go to the kitchen for cooking oil or butter.

This would probably have been mine pre being disabled. There was something glorious about being what I called "decadently lazy".

Sadly for me I'm currently recovering from a relapse to severe ME, I spent a large portion of last year bedbound, I've done the laziest hacks out of sheer necessity and a desire to get the most out of what little I have, i miss the joy in moments of lazy.

So hear my plea.

Continue to be decadently lazy because it is good for the soul and essential to your mental and physical health... and please let me live a lazy vicarious joy through your confessions of decadence.

Thankfully I've always been able to find some small joy somewhere, just they look a little different now, my joys are when I get to do things

But if i have helped you relish that joy just once, I'll be happy, we deserve to allow ourselves to be lazy!
