No this isn't a reference to shit stirring people.

But actual wooden spoons,more to the point they put your teeth on edge in the most horrendous way only bettered by squeaking polystyrene.

Yeah..i don't get wooden spoons in this day and age. Hard to clean...soak in the food.

But do they make a noise? I must be deaf..

Have you considered using a metal desert spoon to eat your porridge for breakfast instead of the wooden spoon?

No I purchased a yogurt pot with granola and it had one of those tiny spoons in the lid.

Wooden when you eat if it touches teeth it's a horrible feeling,much like a lolly stick.

I think OP refers to wooden cutlery provided by eateries.

And yeah, they are horrific. For a while I carried my own cutlery set but I kept losing them everywhere 😂😂😂 I always have a plastic fork in my work bag.
