I remember one time innocently expressing incredulity at the popularity of atm only to be taken to task aggressively by those who angrily asserted their right to recycle their detritus from a phallus of their choosing.

Has it happened to you...a well meaning comment that brought an Etna like eruption of fury in your direction?

Well the hole atm thing started in porn and was obviously between carefully douched people...not an advisable thing to do in reality..and i thought it would be overwhelmingly thought of as such.

People can do what they like..i didn't really care...i was just surprised by the ferocity of the response.

Well meaning in that sense meant just not setting out to cause offfence.

It was just an example..

I think it links back to the "cliquey" nature of forums that has been mentioned recently. Newbies are often not afforded the same level of courtesy as old sweats and certain people have a loyal group of friends who will pile on to ensure that their hierarchy is not challenged.
