I once went to check a lucky dip in Sainers..machine made its little noise, I thought nice one - £10 or something. Woman said she couldn’t pay it out, as the prize was too big 😳 Lost my arse, spent the next 30 mins wandering round, trying to get enough 3G to check the numbers. I had 5, and was one number away from matching 6 (something like I had 12 on my ticket and 13 came out). Almost booing at this point. Got home, rang the claim line..imagining all sorts of figures..

£555 🙄 Not to be sniffed at, but I think that’s my one and only shot. Bought a new telly..still got it, 10 years on!

I refuse to do it now. About 15 years ago, I was going silly.spending around 20 to 30 quid. Never expected the jackpot, just to win enough to change my life. Workwise! An opportunity to retrain.

Several roll overs then a Scottish Couple won it. Bought their council house and that was it.120 million

I email Camelot. Stop roll overs. Do five guaranteed serial number winners.

5 good winners than just one ridiculous amount, for potentially just one person with no family.
