Lottery win - fulfil your dreams

Next Door

If you won the very big national lottery jackpot tonight. What would you do to fulfil your dreams that money can buy?

I would give my kids money/buy them a house, a nice family holiday.

After the excitement/overwhelming feeling was gone, I would do something for dogs. An enclosed safe areas with a indoor and outdoor pool, assault courses, wooded areas, tunnels etc just so they all can have fun.

What would you do?

Manchester/London

I would buy my son a house, buy my best friend a house, buy myself a large plot of land maybe a farm etc. Take my son and a 12 month trip to go explore the places we want to explore. Invest in property then there’s a steady income too. Depending on how much I won, I’d open a new ward at Christie’s in Manchester and look to open a safe space for people in Manchester with mental health needs

Oh lots of things if we are talking big big money

I’d make sure my closest friends have a home/pay off their mortgages. My kids would have trust funds and a home each.

My son would have his dream business, as would my daughter - with the expert help they need to make it a success.

I’d settle then to a small holding in the Yorkshire dales with my various animals and travel wherever I wanted to

I'd split it with my daughter.

From my half, I'd give each of my siblings a million pounds. I'd buy a decent house, and keep a couple of million to live on for the rest of my life, and give the rest to charities.

I have a list, it starts with buy land for our community of chosen family where we can all have our perfect home.

Actual family will get new houses and cars etc. Kids trust funds...

I then have several charities I would give financial support to, 2 CIC's I'd like to set up.

One being a fully accessible, disability friendly coworking space, with cafe, that is also medical cannabis friendly, the other being IT based but specifically for amdram theatre groups (websites, ticketing, marketing etc... all the things they cant afford and usually rely on volunteers for)

Can't you tell I'm a disabled luvvie

couple, us we him her.

Buy a load of property, some to sell some to rent, but I'd rent at an affordable price not to be greedy.

Build up a decent portfolio.

Start a medium sized property maintenance company to maintain the properties,do a few extensions and loft/ basement conversions and the odd bespoke new build.

Buy some fine art .

Start a trust fund for my kids and grandkids.

Buy a nice house (not massive)

As long as it's secluded and secure.

Invest in various shares,no high risk industries.

Bank a shit ton of it.

Buy some really nice houses and rent at a ridiculous low rent as for them to avoid any tax implications.

Learn how to pilot a boat.

Learn how to fly.

Learn different languages.

Learn a musical instrument.

I'd fill my time expanding my mind as well as my bank accounts.

Definitely help out a couple of small charities to help make a difference but I'd do it a anonymously, not in it for the glory but to help.

Get the wife a horse, she's always wanted one.

I'm 57 soon I've been working nonstop since 15 if probably have a decent holiday seeing a few countries.

I think that should just about cover it.

Trust funds for the kids.

How much is in play?

Assuming it's a very significant sum?

I'd stop working.

Pay off the mortgage.

Long International trip with L.

New home in the UK and in my posh Alcatraz. Nothing too large or extravagant.

Put aside some money in a trust for my kids.

Diversify investment in real estate, crypto and gold.

Offer support to couple of worthwhile charities.
