Portaventura has some great roller coasters.

Tarragona is a really interesting town to wander around. A short journey away.

It's 25 years since we went. Stayed in a hotel overlooking the amphitheatre at Tarragona, which others have said is well worth a visit. The beach there, Playa El Miracle, didn't have have any facilities so we went to ones in Salou and Cambrils. If you have a hire car, I can highly recommend a drive south (about 45mins) to the Ebro Delta Nature Reserve to see the flamingos. We had amazing paella in a restaurant overlooking it. Have a Fab holiday 😁

I think it’s cleaned up it’s act, when I went it was like Blackpool in the sunshine, with beggars, drug pushers, fighting etc etc
