Deepest darkest Peru

I do this every day without even knowing about it

I always appreciate what and who I have around me even when times are challenging

I would imagine its like writing down at the end of each day things that you are grateful for. Like ending each day on a positive note, not a negative one.

Something like that OP??

Indeed it is. I've read up on it, just wondered if anyone had tried it and found it helpful.

I think it's a good idea to cultivate positivity. Try to look for the good things and appreciate small pleasures.

I personally don't like the word gratitude to describe it because it implies that anything good in your life is outside of your control and you need to thank someone or something for it. It's too much like religion for me.

Appreciate things, enjoy the sun on your face, look forward to coffee with a friend, that sort of thing

It’s a good idea to express gratitude. I’m not sold on the idea of calling it a “therapy” though. It should just become a normal behaviour as part of a healthy outlook.

Either way, if it’s working for you then that’s great, congrats
