"No strong opinion here though few years back a tarrot reader told me where to look for my mum's lost ring and found it after searching for nearly a month for it before. 🤷♂️" Hmm, just a fantastic coincidence perhaps? 🤔 Unless they said "it is in a small blue box in the back of a drawer, 3 drawers down, in the chest of drawers in the back bedroom of your house on this road" ![]()

"No except I think Tarot cards are very useful for focussing your mind and asking yourself questions you might not have thought of previously. They are not able to predict the future but they do enable you to influence it. " That's an interesting take! Maybe they do have a useful role in introspection.

"When it comes to belief I tend to think in terms of Popper's concept of Falsifiability. If something can't be tested then it can't be considered empirically verifiable or therefore reliable. Popper would refer to this as a non-scientific hypothesis or question. I look at it quite simply as something that can't be reliably proven, but that doesn't necessarily mean it has no value. I wouldn't rely upon the outcomes, let's put it that way. It can be interesting though, and if it's enjoyable then why not do ngage with it? Why not? I mean unless deep down there's a belief that it may be real and you are messing with supernatural forces 😁. We wouldn't want to open a gateway and summon a demon now would we? 😈 " Awwww, but that sounds like fun ![]() ![]() ![]()

There we will begin our ritual and embrace the abyssal divinity of the unknown. I'll bring my Ouija board and a candle. ![]()

"No, but if it helps you, then you do you. There’s evidential support for acupuncture, but most ‘woo’ stuff is to separate people from their money. " The NHS offers acupuncture. A musculoskeletal consultant and a physio both treated me with it

" My major worry are thoses who dupe people out of money by making them think they are in contact with their deceased loved ones." Absolutely, the Church are working the mortality corner, they should get their own grift.

"Not really. Except when you read thing where it says my star sign is good in bed. Then it's 100% true. ![]() ![]() The thing I find about star sign traits is that they are all positive. They are things like adventurous, studious, kind, focused etc. They are all things people aspire to being. When people read them they are more disposed to see themselves as those things and conclude there is something in it. If one of the descriptions was "an utter piece of dog turd" then the person surrounded by crystals is much less likely to say "that's soooo me, darling".
