I’ve always found that weeks where there is a bank holiday always drag at work… dunno if anyone feels this also…

It’s because we end up doing 5 days worth of work in 4!

Carlisle usually

I have tomorrow off as well as taking the Tuesday off this week. End of financial year and it's use em or lose em for holiday days before June.

The past two working days have been the longest of my life, mostly because there's still 40 hours of work to do and only 16 being paid to do them in 💜

Bank holidays are lovely in theory, but they just completely fuck everything.

I'd prefer the extra days to take when suits me.

I would posit that animals, including us mammals, are not inherently attuned to time. Humans by virtue understand the concept and the subdivisions of time to the nth degree, but even with our greater awareness we are poor timekeepers. It's not a very useful "survival trait" to our primate origins.

About the only use for time is it stops everything happening all at once
