As a stroke survivor, does it put folk off meeting?

I can't say that alone would be off-putting, I'm guessing there maybe some lasting affects for you to ask? It's hard to say without knowing them to be honest.

But in general no it wouldn't be off-putting.

I guess it depends on what impact your stroke has had on you sexually.

I once met someone who'd had a stroke but didn't tell me in advance. One of the impacts for them was ED and that became quite awkward ... because they then admitted they'd had a stroke and couldn't get hard.

We still had a nice evening but I do feel honesty would have been helpful in advance.

It's a highly personal aspect of life, that nobody should be under any pressure to disclose about themselves to others.

It might be helpful to share some details, of what may be an issue, whilst with others. This advanced sharing might help to ensure that you're as best matched as possible. Not everything about strokes is physical - it may be emotional/psychological.

Most people want the best for others, so knowing of some potential challenges for you, could be helpful, so that they can aid your comfort and satisfaction.
