I have 4

1st butterfly on ankle - when I was in a position to get my own place with my son

2nd diver on my ribs made up of fish, sharks and turtle to celebrate my love of diving and undersea

3rd claddagh ring on my chest - to mark my Irish heritage and my son and I got matching ones

4th underboob manta ray - to mark my 50th and my present to myself which was a trip to maldives where I swam with them.

I have a pocket watch on my inside forearm with two times on. One is the time my grandma died, the other is the time my grandad died - they brought me up

Then I have a vine on my forearm arm with initials of my hubby, son, miscarriage - baby feet, miscarriage - baby feet, baby loss - baby feet, son, daughter, with fireworks at the top as that's my birthday

And then a crown on my wrist because hubby calls me his queen

All very emotional and mean alot to me

I have tattoos I fancied at different points. I have no idea about style or shit. But they’re all black. A few artists weren’t that confident using colour on my skin tone. That’s the main reason my sunflower tattoo doesn’t have any colour in.

My last two are unique custom pieces with a meaning that reflects positivity.

Two original ones to cover up but those will be covered up with other meanings of positivity too.

Tattoos are beautiful in every form, it’s personal body are and we are our own canvas for our art ☺️

It's all about research pal, I took a few years to take the plunge and get mine. I wanted a realism wolf tattoo and had loads of recommendations for the guy who did mine. We're both Wolves fans and he wanted to give me a great tattoo.

Play around with google, if you have a special meaning, symbol, statement or anything that means something special to you then research it.

You’ll always find inspiration.

Then even tweak it to make it even more beautiful.

Just remember it’s for you, nobody else, the art should be loved by you ☺️

I have 4 tattoos.

Stars on the back of my neck ( my first one ) that needs covering because it's so terrible lol 😆 didn't do my research. I can't see it though so it doesn't bother me as much as if I could!

On each wrist I have a name and a date which means everything to me.

Just above my right ankle I have a colour tattoo, which is a specific design I found online for miscarriage. It's unusual, no one else knows, unless you ask or you have it yourself. Half in blue and half in pink as I never found out.

I do plan to get another soon, it's been far too long. But for me they have to mean something and I have to pick.

Really liking the under bust fine line tattoos at the moment, and I need a dandelion at some point. I'm all about strength, positivity, good affirmations at the moment.

I've come through some awful stuff and I feel like that needs marking some how.
