I definitely perv in ninja mode to see what a profile holds first but if I like the look of someone I don't hide it or pretend I don't.

I don't use the hotlist option that way. If I'm interested enough in someone I will chat to them and add them as friends.

My hotlist is only for monitoring those I know to have shared my details with others or those I know from experience to be stirring the pot.

For that reason I wouldn't want them knowing they are on that list.

If that's a red flag to some I'm not really bothered.

My hotlist is used for a couple of reasons.

Those that I have only just chatting with and am not sure where it is going yet, I only add friends when I’ve meet someone in real life or there is a real connection.

Those that I’m trying to avoid- ex partners etc who I don’t want to bump into at social meets or at a club, or I can at least be prepared mentally that I might see them.

Those that I am stalking because their status updates make me laugh but they aren’t what I’m looking for.

Would I want everyone to know that they are on the list, not really but if they were notified then I would have to think about how I managed those situations differently.
