Hard to believe there's anything out there better, but there is...

M&S Golden Blonde Chocolate Spread.

What's better than Nutella for you?

Here for your condiment chat, or otherwise.

.

Everything is.

Bonne Maman's cara_elised apple spread.

Lemon curd on seeded, slightly cooled toast with really good butter.

Croissant butter from Pollen

The Alphonso mango preserve from Single Variety co.

And cherry curd! Very rare but I had one from the Newt (I think) in a hamper and it was so good. Not really come across it since.

I had to stop buying the cara_elised apple spread, I could eat that all day. Off to look up cherry curd recipes, make my own lemon curd can't be that different

It's so good isn't it? I'd never even considered making them, thank you Frida for the inspiration, x

Sweet-wise, no. It's Nutella all the way.

One of my favourite things in life is gravy! Peppercorn sauce is a close second. 🤤

Sadly it’s a video on TikTok so can’t post the link.

The guy is asked about his condiments and he essentially doesn’t know what condiments are and the black guys with him are making some hilarious jokes

North East Scotland, mostly

Crunchy biscoff spread, either straight from the jar or spread on a banana (not a euphemism).

I don’t think it’s a condiment though 🤷‍♀️

I love Nutella, but on hot toast so it melts.

Pity it's mostly sugar and palm oil, so I never buy it.

Bite thine tongue YOLO!!!

Or perhaps I'll do that for ya 🤔

Nothing beats a teaspoon of Nutella melting on my tongue 👅 😋 🤤

If you wouldn't lick it off a spoon it doesn't count!

Smooth peanut butter in a pinch.

I do love nuts 🥜

Is Nutella a condiment? Aren’t condiments like mayo and ketchup, etc? I don’t know here’s why I’m asking.

Or do jams and that fall under the condiment label, too? I wouldn’t want mayo on my toast the same I wouldn’t want strawberry jam with my chips…

I am genuinely unsure now. I used it unthinkingly. Jam and marmalade are condiments, so I have anything spread on toast in that bracket, in my brain at least.

But salt and pepper are also condiments, so it's a bit of a verbal mindfuck.

Some good ones already mentioned, for sure. In truth though you can't beat a slab of butter smeared all over a crumpet (Warburtons obviously).

Yes. And considered condiments. Go figure!
