I ordered some new snowboarding kit from the America and when my parcel arrived the seller had thrown in a load of stickers aswell. Really made my day as I love a sticker pack(childish I know but I don’t care!) If I sell anything on eBay or Vinted I always put a small pack of Haribos in there for the buyer as a thank you treat. I also forward coffees sometimes. What was the last act of random kindness you received?

I have never been on the receiving end of a random act of kindness from a stranger.

My friends and family are often very kind to me though

Recieved....... ??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Recieeeeeeeeeeved..... ?

They are too few and far between. I'd say never .... pretty much never

I don't count the 'gifts' in purchases from China as they are generally marketing ploys.....

The only things I can think of are the times when I meet well mannered friendly people.

I once had a latte bought for me when I was in work, as the patient dropped off their prescription they said they were going to get a coffee while we dispensed it, I jokingly said " I'll have a latte please" .. you can imagine my surprise when she came back and gave me a coffee 🤣

Tonypandy.

I used to be part of a Facebook group called 'random acts of crafting kindness' who left gifts to be found.

I've also received a very beautiful hand painted kilt pin in a RAOK gift.

Right. I am going to go for a walk ( as usual ) but I am going to look out for people who are 'nice' to me , or even communicate.

For my part I will commit / carry out one or two random acts of kindness ( which I believe I do on a small scale daily in any case )

I'll report back later / much later as im going out.

Giving to the homeless doesn't count. I need to think of a random act of kindness that people will realise...

Hmmmmmm what to do though ......

I went on the random acts of kindness foundation and I do most / nearly all of their suggestions as part of my very being anyway ....

I like the ones about donating books but this is so that I can ditch my unwanted books on others. Is this REALLY a kind act

There's a guy I buy custom percussion instruments from in the states. He does a similar thing. When I open the package there's a bag of sweets included.

On certain car parks that aren't registration based, people give their parking ticket to me when they're leaving and I'm coming in, to use again.

When I was in the lake district, this american tourist came up to me and gave me his parking ticket. He said that I was the 3rd or 4th person to use the ticket because it was a 24 hour one

. ..Naturally I did the same when I was leaving 🙂

Unless I'm completely selfish I can't think of something in recent memory I've received ().. I did give someone £10 after she was having a complete meltdown using two cash machines and it wasn't giving her any money. She was on the phone to her mum as she couldn't get home (pats own back)

I like to compliment other women randomly if say they are wearing a nice dress, a nice lipstick or their hair looks fabulous. I will stop and tell them and wish them a good day. It always generates a big smile and if it makes their day a little brighter, it makes me feel god too

I do this all the time. And will ask where an outfit is from if I like it.

The bus driver let me and my friend on the bus for free the other day. That was nice.

I paid 10p for a carrier bag an old lady needed in charity shop for a £1 purchase. It was nothing to me really but made the old lady and shop assistant very happy as she only had a £20 note..

I pay the local bridge toll for the car behind if they are pensioners. Its only £1.50 but it might make a difference

They’re nice things, but the cynic in me says those examples you listed are less “random acts of kindness”, and moreso commercial transactions and marketing.

Last act of kindness? The other day I had to be awake at 4am for a big day, and when I woke up I found that my ex had ironed my shirt for me and had it hanging up ready. It took me by surprise and actually made me tear up (I’m a big softie). Such a thoughtful gesture and it really helped with my day.

I crochet toys and when we go on days out I hide them for others to find 🫶🏼
