I was only 5 when he was born and my mum had given birth exactly a year before hand...He was 3 months prem so i did not notice a bump and after he was born she came home my dad worked all day,and he did the hospital shift after work whils she did the days then came home to sort us out...we had not really seen my father for a couple of months and they had not told us about our brother incase he died...so basically he turned up one day with this tiny baby boy and i just assumed

Ah they all think its hilarious like they did when it finally dawned on me that men could not have babies and i asked my sister who thought it funny to announce it in front of my grandmother and mother who laughed to crying point...its funny now i think back on it but at the time i was very confused when i learned about how babies came about.

That the skin would grow over my nails as it bulged over my well bitten nails, and that someone would have to cut it off (so my mum said). No more nagging required, instant overnight cure for nail biting

I used to believe all babies were born as boys and it was not until later in life that some became girls. I remember asking my mum one day what job she did when she was a man. I was then told the truth.

when we were kids playing doctors we kept playing with each others belly buttons, then a friend who was a bit older said if you do that it will fall out, i never touched my belly button again after that. then my hubby said i should clean it out, so i did, but it makes me feel funny when i touch it.
