Due to the recent spate of warm days and cool nights thus years strawberry crop should be extra sweet. What are your favorite fruits?

They both have a very limited window of gorgeousness !

But get them when they are in the cinderella spot and they are wonderful !

I love perfectly ripe strawberries, freshly picked and eaten in the warmth of the sunshine.

Blackberries and red/black grapes. Sloe berries for gin, cherries eaten whilst basking in postcoital glow.

Mango, passionfruit, guava, pineapple and coconut.

Plums/apples from my grandparents.

I was called a fruit bat as a child.

All over

Water melon above all. But a nice plate of melon, water melon, nectarine, peach, mango, papaya, few grapes, a couple of strawberries and a handful of loquats will do me. Thank you.

Not easy to get, usually in continental, asian, chinese fruit stores. The are little yellow things you peel and eat the flesh. Delicious when properly ripe.

I just know Mr. will want to try this when I tell him!

Back to the OP:

My favourites are nectarine, kiwi, and grapes. Pears and strawberries, too (but they have to be just-so)

Dragon fruit.

Like a fluorescent purple colour 💜, like this heart, when you cut into them..very other worldly looking and very refreshing tasting.

They grow on a particular type of cactus apparently.

I love papaya. So nice and so good for you. Supermarkets used to carry the tiny ones but haven’t seen them lately.

Strawberries, blueberries, and of course the odd sweet banana.

I adore fried sweet plantain but have put on over a stone in weight since December so need to address that. 🥲

I like watermelon but not the ones imported to here. I like proper, massive, red, juicy watermelons! 😋 🍉

Dragonfruit (Pitahaya) is native to Mexico but oddly enough we don’t eat it there. We eat tunas- prickly pears. 😄

Yes..

I looked into trying to grow dragon fruit here... don't think there's any chance in this climate

Apples … making cider this year ought to be a great, the crop is looking good so far plus no frost and early pollinators, - the dryness increases sugar = increase the natural alcohol levels …. Ummm

Could be a vintage ! Good threat OP

Aren't tomatoes easyish?

Ive got tomato plant growing that's about a metre, from seed.. started 2 months ago.

(Potato and tomato I find are the easiest..)

I really love a fat, ripe, juicy peach.

Sweet cherries that pop in your mouth are also lovely.

For crunch, a crisp Granny Smith.

When I'm ill or thirsty I desire a sharp orange.

Pineapple is nice on pizza too

Very similar list, but while I like a banana 🍌, I'd swap it for cherries 🍒 and/or watermelon 🍉

Honourable mention for kiwi 🥝 (including skin)
