Has anyone ever had their presence and/or activity on here revealed to their partner, a family member or a friend?

We get messaged by so many blank profiles and when asked why no pics or text the answer is nearly always “I need to be discreet”. Like wtf lol.

I’ve seen slightly distant inlaws, ex work colleagues and occasionally customers on here.

Although never been outed it’s not like Im advertising to the world at large and it’s not illegal

You can’t really educate vanilla folks anyway, such cohorts don’t and never will understand the swingers lifestyle and value judgements which underpin decisions.

Unless a Fabber is telling lies or has a role in society that may judge the lifestyle, what difference does being “outed” make?

I once tried to explain to a table of people why swinger relationships are almost always stronger given the deep level of trust and high level of communication required; none of them understood so I changed the subject!

There have been forum threads about folk receiving threatening to out them messages, so I can understand the reluctance to show a face pic. Some jobs would also not like an employees face identifying them on here also.

Sadly there are unsavoury types on here, so I think caution is wise and nothing to be suspicious about.

I no longer show face pics unless I’m actually planning to meet someone. If I won the lotto and my pic appeared in the paper I don’t want the men of Fab contacting The Daily Mirror and outing me as a bit of a goer!

We have had them threats and we had to change our phone numbers which is a pain in the arse, mr’s ex was making profiles to try and get our face pics to out us to family

Yes I did a few years ago, it was deeply upsetting and unpleasant.

I figured that the only way to prevent it in the future was to be in charge of the story so now I’m open and candid about my lifestyle at work, with friends and family.

I’ve nothing to hide so no one can do that again

I used to see a couple from here, they were outed by their niece. Everything went tits up, they lived with their mother/in law whilst saving for a mortgage and she gave them an ultimatum of give it all up or move straight out. There were religious issues too. No one thought to ask how the niece came across them though... It was very sad, they were so lovely and happy on their swinging journey of discovery.

Thankfully not.

I get people need to remain private, we all do. But I think everyone can add some sort of pics, that won't identify them to work mates or others.

Everyone is risking someone outing them, if they send face pics here. If someone is that worried, that they won't send me a face pic if we're chatting, they wouldn't be for me.

I tend to just avoid the blank profiles.

I just won’t send a face pic. It would have caused me untold grief when I was working. Now because of all the shite that goes on with SM and the internet in general I still won’t do it as there are far too many nutters about.

I was about fifteen years ago. Went on holiday from my company . Came back and got a lot of snide remarks. Told that I was on here. Found out who had said this. Reported to management. Fact as now how did person know about me being on here without signing up for a profile. Person owned up to doing and being on here. Person left company couple months later.

I get people not showing face pics. We don’t ask and we don’t send. Mrs has a public facing job where she comes into contact with a lot of people including children. Being on here might be viewed in a negative way. It’s so easy to twist the narrative.

I'm fairly open but still appreciate discretion. I think some people who aren't truly single, will often behave with greater worry about being recognised or found out.

Ultimately, 99% of us are going to need to see someone before knowing whether they might be even worth much consideration

I’ve seen a regular customer and his girlfriend on here, also some people who drink in my local.

I’d never say anything about their lifestyle, however I can’t say the same for them.

I have had one person recognise me, but we talked it over and both agreed that neither of us will say anything about our lifestyle.

That’s the way it should be 😁
