Who else thinks that a deleted message isn’t rude it’s just an easy way to say you’re not interested? I prefer it if I message someone and they delete it if they’re not interested.

I don’t see a deleted message as rude, whether I’m the one deleting or not.

Not everyone on this site has time to reply with a polite no thank you

Definitely preferable to leaving your message unread.

I regularly delete all the messages in my inbox because I get hundreds. Not because I'm some wildly hot pinacle of human sexuality, but I've got a vagina and a fairly nice pair of tits, so like every other woman on here my inbox fills quickly. It's rarely a reflection on the person who messaged, I just want to see other messages too lol x

Absolutely. It's not rude. In fact it's a definite response. If I'm not interested I just delete.

Inbox owners have completed freedom to choose how they manage what gets into them. The sender has one rule to understand - no reply equals no thanks.

Once sent, put your attention elsewhere

Not rude at all.

Have you ever seen the amount of messages women/couples would need a full time PA to reply to them all

Not rude, although there's lots of guys here who think it is.

Yep, exactly this, and most seem to accept this. But there's always one who feels the need to tell you how they feel about you deleting their message and tonight I got called a rude, ill-mannered c*nt! Ah well, what's one more on the block list

Donna, I've just been reading the thread you posted a few hours ago. I'm sorry you experienced that. I've had the same in the 7 years I've been on and off here. It's totally unacceptable behaviour. The abusive messages I had tonight, from one man, were lengthy so I couldn't share everything on the forum, but I reported him for unsolicited abuse.

I’ve done the same! It wasn’t related to my post but the man from this was disgusting!

Honestly, I’ve been on here for going on 10 years and the past couple of days the replies have been awful!

Deleted messages are not rude at all. Just shows they are not interested, as not everyone has the time to send a not interested message.

I also consider no responses to a message as not interested.

If a message is unread for a while, I usually just delete it myself.

If someone tells me to delete if not interested I just leave it. Don't tell me what to do. But other than that I generally delete.

We leave them unread.

No reply = no thank you.

It's not rude not to reply to every message deleted or not.

Alphabet Mafia HQ, Dudleyish.

We don't think its rude at all.

We don't even think not reading a message is rude either. We just assume theres no interest and they don't want to delete out of politeness.

I delete without reading most messages that are not in my location. I have recently got a follow up message saying "I have nice tits but no manners or class". That prompted a reply, one with bad manners of course

I used to block and delete but I am too lazy for that these days..

.

It's not rude. At all.

There is one thing... not all women get hundreds of messages daily and have to delete all. It's very easy to use your filters if you don't want that ego boosting experience.

I've started doing this but it feels rude to me 🙈

Got fed up with just replying no thanks and then that being seen as a conversation starter...
