Probably a sweet hoop earring, god I had no understanding of the involuntary dampness I was causing strutting around the school with that in my ear.

Nothing. I lived in Durban in South Africa, and had no idea Argos existed. Thanks for the £10, though. It would have been worth around R70. Not a fortune, but my wife and I could definitely have had a nice lunch with it.

You’ll get R250 now which is still enough for a moer of a steak out there! Not in Argos though, or even Takealot

Not in your area

I'm going to the corner shop after school and getting the Official UK Playstation magazine, a big carton of ribena, large portion of chips in the chippy next door, then going home to play the demo disc, likely still with change in my pocket

I would be 16, just left care and living alone for the first time. I vividly remember a yellow kettle shaped a bit like a dolphin! I always wanted it but never had the money!!

They were the only ones I could buy. I can’t remember how much they were.

I remember the cheaper ones gave you less blocks. Was it 8 or 16? (I don’t want to google)

I'd long off the argos catalogue and buy me and my then husband to be a few bottles of cider and go to the local park for a right good night with our mates. Cheers for the tenner mate! Oh to be 16 again!!
