Apparently you should measure from the front edge of the dartboard, not the wall. The official throwing distance for steel-tip darts is 7 feet 9¼ inches

So thats 13 fab feet.

Measure from the bottom of the footings of the house and tell people your dartboard is 12ft 6" high
