"I had to go help mom do the weekly grocery shop on the bus. if there was enough money left, we got a taxi home and felt like royalty..if it wasn't my turn, I got to watch tiswas or swap shop, some friends around the corner, their dad worked on the tiswas set so we used to get freebies, joke books and stuff.
