Marked one of the worlds saddest days in football history.56 beutiful people died in the bradford city fire.i still remember it like it was yesterday.football unites fans in times like these.as a Blackpool fan.im thinking of the 54 bradford fans and 2 Lincoln fans today.you will never ever be forgotten R.I.P.. love to you all and to all of the families and the injured on that day to thinking of you to.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It’s terribly sad and such a tragic event. Something that will hang over football forever, and should never be forgotten.

There is programme on BBC2 tonight at 9pm about the Bradford fire. Worth watching if you are not fully aware of what actually happened on that horrific day.

i think a lot more people that day deserved medals for there bravery trying to save fellow human beings so many heroes that day.

I was too young to remember it at the time but I've obviously seen the footage.

The scary thing was how quickly it went from a small fire to the entire stand being engulfed. It was mere minutes.

I'm just glad I wasn't attending football in those days, a lot of those stadiums were death-traps.

Football was being run on the cheap back then, especially in the lower divisions. A lot of football clubs didn't bother with basic maintenance or safety checks
