No. I'd assume any random approach from Facebook was a scam, but glad it's working out OP...

As a woman you get men sliding into your dm all the time on Facebook 🤣

I leave them in the spam folder

Not totally random as we were both on a ‘dating page’ but back in 2008, Sean winked at me and we got chatting.

That will be 17 years ago this September and we are still going strong!

Married 11 years this August and 2 kids together.

Have to say I've come across or matched or they have come across me .. it was a social networking site after all. One turned into a girl friend the others casual things that happened to happen

About 16 years ago I tried my luck with a nice lady I saw on facebook.

We have been married 15 years this year.

In the last year, since setting my status as single, I've had a couple of random women send friends invites and then start messaging.....unfortunately I didn't fancy them 😂

I went on facebook for the 1st time in a about 10-11 years, a few months ago.

My mum's old workplace has a FB page. There's lots of old photographs I have of her & she's not around anymore to ask who the other people are in them.

So I posted them there, got a lot of response. Probably 50 or 60 of her old colleagues mentioned stories about her, which was nice.

On the whole though I find FB quite chaotic / noisy. I don't remember it being quite like this in the early days when I used it....

(I wouldn't use it for dating, myself..)

I’ve pulled a few from Facebook DM’s. But don’t use it often and find it a bit weird. Since it’s so closely connected to details of your personal life

Mrs P has a beautiful face picture of herself on her Facebook profile and has been approached by a couple of random men friend requests over the years. This really appeals to my cuck side making my cock twitch when she tells me. I am not sure how many men she chats to, its her profile and her choice.

I've had far more jumps from Facebook than off of here

Nope but an old school mate did pop up not long ago and he's got even fitter with age so I'm tempted

No. In the job I worked in previously we had a lady get contacted by a romance scammer via Facebook, we had to get social services involved (she was a vulnerable adult) and all sorts, she gave him £1000’s. He got the huff because she had been in Hospital and hadn’t responded to his messages and rang her (our carer was there at the time) and gave her a hard time.

Her family had given up on her as she adamant this guy was the real deal. She had even chose her wedding dress. She has since passed away.

So yeah, I’d be very, very wary. You can be catfished, romance scammed, all sorts.

No, because a lot of my Facebook friends are connected to an industry that I have some standing in and I wouldn't wish to harm my position by getting involved with anyone from there

My old facebook profile had school friends on that I've not seen for 30 years and have no real wish to, and slightly iffy family friends whom my mum would have been upset if I'd not accepted their friend requests.

I deleted that quite happily

I haven't had FB for over 15 years but have been tempted just to check out FB dating and see if there are any local hotties about.

The MySpace days were great for that.

I mean this was common practice when I was very much early 20’s, give people random ‘adds’ which wasn’t random at all because you liked how they looked and then try your luck…

Mrs P regularly gets random friend requests on Facebook from single guys. She never accepts them, but is always curious about their intentions and she admits to being a bit turned on by it
