"Message back n forth then not turn up should be banned " There’s a way to avoid being bothered by it - don’t chat too much before a meet. Don’t invest too much emotion. Always have alternative plans. Work on the assumption that they won’t turn up. The rest is intangible and hard to explain, but basically after a while you’ll be able to tell who’s likely to show up and who’s not. It’s easy to judge. | |||

" Agree with this! … I always suggest a coffee for a first meet. If they don’t show I just cry into my espresso 😂😂😂 (Ps. No crying ever Involved .. just a block and enjoy my day) | |||

" I did that in Uxbridge when I got ghosted. To top my day off I went in to Clarks to get some wallabees but they didn't sell them in there so found a pub and had a few beers. | |||

I'll chat to people on here/forums, then go to messages, then chatting gets more personal so you go to WhatsApp, after WhatsApp you arrange to meet but at any stage in all of that, if I didn't feel safe, for whatever reason I will stop speaking and no reason or explanation given Luckily I have never had to 'ghost' someone but I would if I didn't feel comfortable with who I was speaking to | |||
