Dont know much about the different phones available now but Samsung Galaxy seems to be doing ok....

I hate the qwerty pads on phones, thankfully you can change it to old style keypad....

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, it has qwerty,swype and abc options although I stick with qwerty
