I was preparing to meet but I needed to do some revision for an exam coming up and was concerned to cancel a meet for my revision.

They shout and insult over the phone thinking I am time waster. I said I can meet this Saturday instead

Does this happen a lot?

If someone ditched me same day with reason like that then I would tell them that you should have been more prepared and wish you all the best.

I appreciate things happen but that's not a sudden circumstance you weren't aware of.

Looks like I messed up.

It was an exam I revised well but when sitting eating my tea I got concerned about it then decided just to be sure I should go through it again.

Been a while since I sat an examination, but letting down someone and the let down person getting annoyed and insulting and not wanting to meet again is pretty normal. Mind due, I have had some great meets as a short notice stand in for those cheesed off by time wasters.

It shouldn't happen at all. They need to regulate their emotions.

Did they turn up and you didn't. Just how much notice did you give them before the cancelation ? or re schedule as it was.

Many have to think about baby sitters and their time is precious, just like yours is.

So if you knew you had the exam and hadn't revised enough why agree to meet?

They have every right to feel annoyed, but not to be abusive if they were.

Okay 👍 I have test tomorrow and feel very confident but while eating my tea I had doubts about something.

I asked them to make it Saturday instead
