Morning you amazing lot of fun folk

So I was wondering this morning ….

When you meet with others do you ask about STI checks ? Or do you just go with using protection and leave it at that?

Just always curious about the conversations people have when it comes to sex

Absolutely have that conversation - quite possibly the most important one.

We'll call me bad, I've had sex with guys where I haven't discussed it prior.

🤷🏻‍♀️

I have the conversation about testing sometimes? But not every time.

Next Door

I've had conversations about when last tested and about using condoms.

I do this before play

Not played for a while and things might have changed but can't say I've ever asked if they've had checks - condom use yes.

It’s not something that I’m asked loads but I don’t get insulted if someone does, I’ve not had a meet that I haven’t used protection for though. I totally get it if bareback sex is what your after.

I can probably go quite TMI about this kinda stuff, but I think if you're having sex with someone you need to be able to have quite frank conversations about contraception and testing etc.

Just thinking here .. is this is a bit porn industry overkill? I get the idea open discussion is good between people but it seems a bit stop-go sanitary.

You wouldn't ask the same question of someone you met on a night out, a close friend, a colleague, whoever it was you liked ... walking away if they hadn't.

Swingers meet infrequently really, so why give the appearance someone might be unsanitary - tests don't pick up everything and condom's/some form of protection will likely be used anyway

If it’s a random meeting at a club, then no. Most clubs ban phones so it makes it difficult.

Planned meetings, absolutely, sharing results is a must. I get tested every three months and always happy to share results.

Carlisle usually

Establishing a new relationship where there will (hopefully) be regular encounters and a potential for intimacy, have the conversation, use protection at least until boundaries around risk profiles are established and secure.

At a club and want the pretty thing, fuck it, just take the reasonable precautions and test a couple of weeks afterwards 💜
