When you send out face pictures and then it’s suddenly quiet on the other side. Do you prefer it like this or hearing a “thankyou but not for us” kind of thing?

Has this happened to you before?

An outcome is always nice and does help!

Anyway I know the females/couples does have hundreds of messages and this is hard to do so but perhaps the admins should think of this side too as there are huge amount of members.

Anyway have fun!

Never happened to me, probably because I look like Henry Cavill and Hugh Jackman mixed together.

That being said, if someone ever preferred the Vampire guy from twilight looks, I would rather they delete my message and never reply.

Best not to read too much into it OP. Could be any number of reasons why they haven't messaged since.

Don't give it a second thought, just focus on who is in front of you and wants to get close and personal with your pretty face

Unfortunately we get it quite often and it does become annoying..we would prefer a reply than no reply at all and be ignored as we find that quite rude.

A simple 'sorry your not what we are looking for' would do just fine.

I don't really give out my face pic very often...but and extended silence would make me feel like the Elephant Man..

I'm not sure there is a nice way of telling someone they look fuck ugly...so that doesn't work either.

I've had this. One guy blocked me which I thought was extreme! 🤣

I think I'd rather they didn't reply back tbh. No reply is a response as they say.

There’s so many ways to adress this. I’d rather have a polite “sorry you are not what we’re looking for” then being left on read or just leaving the message unread forever. The message is delivered that way too but just think it’s not left with the best feeling

I’ve been on both sides of this lol, that’s why I just decided to have no private pics and put my face out there it’s deffo disheartening to get the “not for me sorry”.

But I was speaking to a woman for a couple of days once until she showed me pictures and I felt horrible saying she wasn’t my type, she took it very well and didn’t give me a hard time, but i did feel like a dick after two days of positive chat.

If they just leave it open and don't reply, you are left wondering of they will respond at some point.

If they deleted it, you have your answer there and then, which for me is better.

Yes, it happens a lot.

I’m not sure what I’d prefer, I get that I’m not everyone’s type, but when you think there’s something there, and then you are ghosted, that’s pretty sad.

Do I prefer an honest ‘not gonna happen mate!’? I’m not sure. 😅

I rarely send face photos and even then it's usually a month or so from the inception of chatting. If photos are shared the conversation either continues at pace or just fizzles out after a while. That way we never really know if it was the photos that did it or just the natural decay of the conversation.

Honestly just having the mail deleted is usually the easiest.

Speaking from the male perspective people are usually looking for something specific (BBC, Bi, Over 50, Under 30, VWE etc)

Most of your messages never get read.

If it gets read and there is no response you don't know if they're interested or not.

It's so easy to be too keen for some people or not keen enough or another.

And if you do get a no thank you it's WAY to easy to pick over everything about yourself wondering what you did wrong or is wrong about you.

So someone just deleting the mail is the quickest and easiest to deal with.

Unfortunately the reason a lot of women or couples won't reply, is because there are "men" that will continue to pressure them, or get butt hurt and then send a rude response back.

IIf we're talking purely about what happens after sending a face pic, I think I prefer a 'deleted without reading'. Brutal but unambiguous.

As important as face pics are . When your asked to show yours first then get blocked , isn’t easy to go through but it’s the way it is ! Women have the control . Also when they say face pic with first message or you get deleted ! A bit harsh when they have no pics at all !
