When is a dark sense of humour considered not funny anymore and it is insulting?? I’m a firm believer in if it’s true or kinda true then it can’t be insulting

... Most people are much more offended by things that ring too true to them than they want to admit.

Truth isn't given a carte blanche on not being insulting.

Senses of humour vary between people. It's always been a matter of perception without a clearly marked line 💜

Like any joke, if the person it's directed at isn't laughing then it's not funny 🤷‍♂️

Mmmm yhhh I agree but I see it like this! Most of the time people take things out of context and apply their opinions to it and then it’s deemed offensive! Multiple that with the woke narrative we are fed lately and social media and we have a recipe for disaster,

I mean. Your context isn't the same as their context.

And it might just be that the content isn't actually funny 💜

By the way what was the dark joke that brought about this topic of conversation?

"Mummy, what's dark humour?"

"You see that man over there with no arms?"

"Mummy, you know I'm blind!"

"Now you know"

Humour is subjective- not everyone will find everything funny.

Dark humour appeals to others with the same humour.

It's that simple.

I love dark humour tbh.

I offered a lady a chuddy and told her that her breath stunk!!! She found it well offensive, but the kicker is I was joking and putting one in my mouth because I felt mine did

Dark humour is a wsy of coping with the unfortunate realities of the world.

The current trend of taking offence and then going on the offence against those that dare to speak their minds is oppressive.

Get it out there.
