Have you got particular songs that when you hear them they instantly bring a particular memory/feeling to the front of your thoughts? What makes you turn it up or skip the song?

I've got some good and some bad memories associated with particular songs.

Trouble is i'm rubbish at remembering song titles/artists so get caught unawares until it plays sometimes 🤣

Only my sad memories I remember the songs and artists… and don’t play the songs. Quite a few are by Elvis or Roy Orbison

Happiest tune I can remember is Dizzy by Vic Reeves 😁

Hundreds of songs from the 80’s & 90’s trigger memories of different moments in my life back then. Feels like a time machine sometimes. It’s amazing how clear they can be. I love it

Agadoo by Black Lace. Hate the song, can never listen to it again in my life. When I was 20 working in Yates, Newport, the band played live there on a Thursday night. The sober bar staff had to get on stage to sing and do the actions to this garbage song. I could've died of embarrassment, karaoke definitely isn't for me... especially being sober.

'Edwyn Collins - Girl like you' is being used on a new advert at the moment on the telly. Thats one that takes me back to my childhood and evokes a myriad of memories.

There are heaps of tracks that will take me back to a specific moment in time, mostly good memories, some not so good
