Does anyone remember the chatlines from back in the days before the Internet was a thing?

If so, did you ever call them?

For anyone who doesn't remember, you'd leave a voice intro, and then join a carousel of other people's intros, send them messages and wait for a response.

Often they were free for women, and sometimes there were memberships that made them low-cost for men.

If you clicked, you could have a 1 to 1, swap numbers and maybe meet.

I had some seriously insane encounters as a result of these things. 😬

I did something like that, ended meeting with a girl who got the train to me. We went on a bit of a bar crawl then a club. A really fun night. Took her home and she revealed a very athletic figure that she used well in bed. Couldn’t believe my luck.

I drove her home the next day, over an hour away, on the way she told me all about her insanely jealous bodybuilder ex who she was getting a restraining order against. Kind of took the shine off things lol

Or free for men if you used a feminine voice for your intro!

Not that I ever did that! (You could then use your normal voice when messaging women/couples)

I had similar from those lines when I hooked up with a girl whose current bf was in prison. Never told me till after I fucked her. 🙄

A lot of the women on those chatlines were taking insane risks though - basically inviting men they hadn't even seen a picture of, over to their homes while they had kids asleep and all sorts. 😮
