I always like the idea of growing my own fruit and veg, but I’ve never managed to do anything much with it. I had two tomato plants and a chilli plant for Easter so let’s see what I managed to make of those.

Peas, Beans, courgettes, beets, lettuce, tomatoes, aubergines, Chillies, potatoes etc. this year. Mostly growing in buckets as I haven’t tried that before.

Looking to move around the garden.

Just move plants from the front to the back.

Then cut back some plants and build a climbing frame xxx

You can get dwarf cherry blossom trees

Absolutely love it … currently my daughter is left in charge watering so fingers crossed !!

I make cider from the apple trees approx 150/200 litres a year

Garden raised bed vegetables to freeze

Potty Marrons squash types herb garden bed etc

Love growing garlic Jerusalem artichokes ( more common than potatos which were v much a staple pre the import of potatoes- chilli plants etc

Love it OP. shop bought Veg is a necessity too of course but generally from what I have read only has now approx 15/20% of the minerals compared to veg growing just after the second w war !

So if you can grow something … then the gut benefits and you are loads better off !

Plant onions next to your strawberries plants keeps the pest away and keep the soil from being to waterlogged strawberry plants dont thrive in to wet soil

Having a great crop of asparagus. Already had plenty of purple broccoli. The cucumbers are coming along nicely and the first green broccoli seeds have sprouted. Have planted a couple of potatoes in pots but can't be bothered to plant loads. Some strawberries already...

We always did various tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, squash, radishes carrots and various herbs. One year we when had an accidental pumpkin patch when a Halloween pumpkin was added to the compost pile.
