Truth is a lot of single men lie about wanting to meet couples when they are really just looking for a quick fix. So they chat up, hoping the Mrs will play alone.

I've also had a couple (in an old account) that refused to have a social meet, refused to have me get a taxi to the meet (cos they don't want me knowing their address, apparently they are important people), just wanted to pick me up, fuck and drop me back off. Totally unsafe, especially in the wake of the jeffrey dahmer episode. I called quits.

I had someone cancel on a social because they "don't do dating". When I explained it wasn't a date and my reasonings for wanting a social such as assessing in person attraction and my personal safety, they reluctantly agreed if it was only 1 drink and I promised to come back to theirs after 😬.

The funniest excuse I ever had to someone cancelling something wasn't fab related but it was because they were getting a lift from their dad who had a phobia of tunnels and they had to go through one to get to me. The weird part about this one was that it's well known you have to go through a tunnel to cross the Mersey and we've both lived in the area since children so I'm confused about how that didn't come up until on the day.
