I don't genrally read news papers. What I read most often is the Metro, because its free and just too hand in my everyday work world. On the rare event that I actually buy a newspaper I buy The I.

I also sometimes look at The Independent, but I find The Guardian less superficial.

I haven’t bought a newspaper in over 20 years.

Used to read The Metro occasionally as they were always left in the mess room at work. But rarely even bother with that nowadays.

Anything important I hear about on the radio, or wait until it gets plastered all over social media

I tend to read two or three (varies which ones) and then take the average of what they are saying as the truth.

They are all comically bad and biased to the bollocks. Good for comedy reading though.

To be 'well informed' you ought to be reading all of them.

Otherwise you're only getting one perspective and sure that's never wise.

Except for the Radio Times. Could probably leave that for Christmas

None.

I occasionally check out google news because it brings together all newspapers rather than just 1.

However, I do find modern day journalists to be mostly terrible.

"I tried 10 supermarket soups and 1 was the winner" is NOT, in my opinion, news worthy.

Neither is "I ate at the worst rated chippy."

Now a days, the quality of research and facts is terrible. I once found a photograph which I had taken was used by the Yorkshire Post to illustrate an article about the city of York.

My photograph was of the olde English black and white buildings in a street scene featuring the unique and distinctive "Rows" of Chester.

To be fair, Geoff Buys Cars does a better job than any newspaper.

Must be at least 20 years since I actually had a newspaper in my hand and I don't read digital versions either.

I don't watch TV news and only catch the very odd bulletin on the radio if it's on.

I began with the Funday Times as a kid. My next door neighbour gave it to me as he got the times but had no kids.

After that I went to the torygraph (mostly for Alex)

Then I went to the guardian for just over a decade before ditching it and blocking their website on all my firewalls because of how misandrist it became.

The evening standard was ok before it became free and also feminist / misandrist. Then the metro, but recently dropped

It after it became highly misandrist too.

Now I only buy Private Eye, and browse the news subs on Reddit (which is also increasingly misandrist) .

It’s a pitty. I do miss a good paper at the weekend. Spending early Saturday morning in a cafe browsing through the different sections with a good coffee (well made AND affordable)
