How often do you believe someone should take a test?

probably at least every 12 weeks if you fuck regular/etc

if you are a pro worker/ or hardcore player then monthly just to maintain a good window over the year ..

clinics are better and there many that focus for sex workers/ LGBT at risk people such as swingers etc

I wish there was more free home testing available. I get tested for the common ones but I have to pay. In some areas u can get them for free. I have been to the clinic too but would prefer home lol

Some of the sexual health worker ones send out home kits free I believe. Personally I think it’s easier to just walk in as they go through it all much better and most are free. If you say you are an at risk group

Every three months. Just ordered a kit but I also go along tui the clinic a couple of times a year to do the blood tests as I can't ever get enough blood in the test tube.

Every 3 months for me.

I can get the full free tests at home if I tick every box on the questionnaire. Ie sleep with all sexes, attend group sex events and do sex work.

Ticking one of the above may also work but I know ticking none gets me the basic test.

Sh24 won't test you more often than every 12 weeks...

Your GP will.

I recently told my GP of my lifestyle and that I test ever 12 weeks...maybe he didn't believe me so he took a test anyway as I was between tests.

There is no difference between using home testing and the GP doing it. So long as you do it according to instructions. A blood test is a blood test...Obviously swabs need to be done properly.

People are more used to home testing since covid...some people seemed to do those every day!

Yes SH 24 seem to keep changing the rules but what I do is use other peoples addresses generally you need to be city Centre. They also limited based on your age I guess they think that my age I don’t need them but what I found is even if you’ve been using them at one address with one date of birth you can just change it it up and get it again for free.

I've had tests from SH:24 more frequently than that before. Never been declined when I submit a request.

I stick to a 3 monthly cycle but if for any reason I felt the need to get a more frequent test I would. You can opt to tick the box to say someone has advised you to get tested. 🤷‍♂️

Surely that depends on how often and how many people you are having sex with? I find the home test every 3 months is sufficient for me. I don't have a huge amount of partners ain't nobody got time for that much sex sadly!!! The service does seem to be a bit of a postcode lottery though.

At least every,3 months sometimes every month. It took 6 attempts to get my blood this week, due to the heat, lack of hydration and exercise, I think. Clinic staff are like gold dust. Blood taking is the only difference between testing at home,at mine. I love the luxury of being able to talk with the staff. Some people get free postal kits for friends and forward them
