Right i have a bmw M135i with the wider 19" wheel option, it goes through tyres like fun, and its been off the road fir a couple of weeks as its had a puncture and I've not been able to afford a new tyre(almost 300 quid) because if my circumstance ,just moved back into my old house and this and that

My sister phoned me this morning and said she would replace the tyre for me..............but here's the catch, the car is going to be hers for a month! becausei have a old Picasso that i use for a everyday workhorse. She been wanting to get her arse in the driving seat for a while and fair play she is insured to drive it. But what a sharp one. At the moment she's on the A470 heading north in it lol. She best look after my baby

Stop it Minxie!! You and cars are a potential disaster - you get loose in the poor guys car and he's liable to have kittens!! And no, you don't get one cos you have troublesome pussy as it is! lol

Car nerd here. I admire your sister but have to ask. Why on earth did you go for the 19" wheel option? With the state of British roads I'm surprised your spine hasn't shattered and all your teeth haven't fallen out!

Get rid of the car. I know it's tough but I made the mistake of keeping a car I couldn't afford.... if you care about this car as much as you say, you should find her a home that can give her the time, attention and care that she deserves.

You know what? that is what i was thinking anyway, the car is way too expensive to keep for me, in the 8 months i have owned it, it has cost me more in running costs than the picasso has in the 7 years i have owned that.

Plus my sister has never ever managed to build up full no claims bonus , but somehow they always manage to hit her , this is my first "luxury" car but she has been driving upmarket cars since her second car. even though i love the car, it is my baby, im a little jaded with it now.

because that what was fitted to it when i bought it, bought it second hand. and yes it isnt the best option for british roads but, sticks to the road like shit on a blanket. yeah them 19" tyres are way too fragile and have not managed to wear one out yet, always puncture them.

I'd have ordered a set of nice aftermarket 17's with tyres, you can pick them up, New for about £400. More ride comfort, better bad weather performance, less tramlining and considerably cheaper tyres.
