I think they are lovely choices, one of mine will be Nothing else matters by Metallica.

Make sure you communicate your wishes as otherwise a family member may do something else, which I have experienced and didn't find funny at all.

I have only chosen one so far - the going out song

Tobi Legend - Time will pass you by

Contains the lyrics

Life is just a precious minute, baby

Open up your eyes and see it, baby

Give yourself a better chance

Because time will pass you right on by

They say a lot without being maudlin

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

Going in. “Wonderful World” Louis Armstrong.

Going in the fire. “Wish you were here” Pink Floyd.

But as I’ll be dead, I won’t care or even know!!!

Though I'm not technically having a funeral (pure cremation type thing) so I want my mates to take my ashes on holidays and leave me in different places. They can play it then.

We had Amazing Grace and Abide with me at my mums. Good choices.

Mine will be In My Life - The Beatles. I always thought I’d go for something humorous but fuck it, let them cry.

Always said that when I go to just chuck me in a skip or landfill.

However, if there were a couple of songs being played I would like them to be When You're Gone by The Cranberries, and Drowned On Dry Land by Del Amitri.

That will do me.
