Whilst being on Fab have any of you found exactly what you were looking for on here?Maybe you weren't looking for anything at the time but then found a connection with someone your really into?

Have you been lucky enough to find someone for the dynamic you specifically want such as a regular hook up,FWB etc or even just friendship and someone to hang our with?

Yes, weve been on and off here for around 5 years nearly now.

What we have primarily always looked for has never changed but we find it easier to find or it finds us now so can't complain.

Just using fab isn't the be all and end all, being social and going to socials/meets helps a lot rather than just relying solely on Fab itself.

We couldn't do this in the beginning as we joined just before COVID hit 😂

We met on here when not looking at all, so we know that finding the right people is possible.

We’ve also had a couple of long term FWB’s - a single gent and a married lady who played with her husband’s permission. They both fitted our dynamics perfectly and us theirs so we seen them for over a year.

Situations have changed with both and so we’ve found ourselves searching again. However we know what works now and so it’s seemingly harder as the bar is set high now.

We love opening our relationship up to people and them feeling a part of it, for a time and we are all open and honest.

We’d also love to meet a couple where we meet socially as well as have sexy times and we all meet or if one can’t the others can catch up.

Finding that is very hard though.

I try to be informed by my past, my present desires, but not defined rigidly by them.

I am not sure wasting my time, is the way I look at it. I think I can use my time ineffectually or non-optimally, but if I learn from that then it's not wasted time.

I have no expectation of anything happening from fab. The best chance of a connection is only if you meet up in clubs. Think there are too many time wasters or exhibitionists on fab for it to be the ‘go to’ method for meeting people.

I've been here since 2016 and the only thing I was looking for back then was to continue exploring what I had never experienced until very shortly before turning 50.

I've left and rejoined 3 times, each time with a clean slate and thought I wanted to do that exploring with different people.

I've discovered though how that can bring unwanted drama where I am collateral damage but I've been very lucky to meet someone I am able to explore everything and anything at our own pace with no outside interference.

We have a couples profile now too and continue to enjoy each others company 5 years down the line so I'm more than happy with that.

Met a guy a few weeks after joining, fell in love, are still together after 2 & a half years and are planning our future.

I don't know how to answer this without it coming across as a tad convoluted...

I never once thought I was wasting my time because Fab has mostly 'delivered', but I have never found "exactly" what I'm looking for because I'm torn between what I want and what I need...and most of the time not knowing what I'm looking for!

Ideally what I'm looking for is proximity: someone close by and not a million miles away, as is always the case, with whom I can meet as often as possible, to bond with and develop closeness/feelings and synergy without falling into a relationship with emotional ties.

•Have I found what I'm looking for?• I find them often enough but distances and logistics work against me; their circumstances change, they leave, the come back, they are unsure what they desire and they wallow in ambivalence, my circumstances change and that affects them, calendars conflict, the stars sometimes misalign and so forth.

Essentially... it's the distance. That's the overarching spectre.

It took me a year to find a couple with whom to enjoy mmf threesomes and we were together for six years, until quite recently when they split up. So yes, I did find exactly what I was looking for but whether I'll be lucky again is a big question.

I've never found exactly what I'm looking for because I've never looked. Actively, specifically, none of that.

People have come in to my life when I've been open to certain things, go for it and I'm so very glad they did. That's not to say everything has been a resounding success, far from it. I'm getting better at saying this isn't working for me. Slowly. And going with things when they do.

There are/have been certain people and everything clicks effortlessly. And I've found love. Been loved by people. Even loved/love a couple of them back. There's been romantic love, which is great for my soft heart. There's also been the nourishing love of real friendship.

I've never felt here was a waste of my time - right now I'm loving the experiences this site can bring. The anticipation of dates in the diary, of things to come. I wouldn't say I'm lucky. Rather fortunate, yes.
