A Dirty Hole

Do people do these anymore?

It’s a little more like walking past the solicitors now I know but!

So how many pubs can you get in if you were to do a pub crawl, and if there was one, would you join in?

I think I could have a pint in at least 6 before I turned to shots.

I might try to organise one, it could be fun.

"The mumbles mile….."

This sounds familiar.

I think Town is still possible a there’s many pubs. But our local village which had 9 pubs within a half mile had only 3 and one turned into a trendy bar cafe.

In the west.

I don’t do pub crawls as such any more. More of just a few pubs for 2 or 3 in each.

The last good one I did was a few years ago. It was the Subcrawl in Glasgow. Sixteen stops on the underground and one when you get back to the starting station. It is fairly hard going.

I used to do what was once called the Wimbledon 9 quite often on pals birthdays, from Wimbledon village down to south Wimbledon. Many of the pubs on the route are now unfortunately no longer there

not the north west

Getting up and walking about seems like a lot of work. I'll just pick a nice one and stay there.

the land of saints & sinners

A few years ago I stayed with a friend in London and he invited me on a pub crawl called the “Circle Line” with some of his mates. A pint or shot in the closest pub to each station on that Tube line.

Started off at Edgware Road in a clockwise direction. To this day I don’t remember anything further than Aldgate.

Allegedly, I actually got as far as Temple. Which I was told was quite impressive for a first attempt at the “Circle Line”.

The Subcrawl was a right of passage back in the day, sadly students now are too interested in actually studying and being healthy.

Sad times.

Subcrawl has always been something I've wanted to do. No chance now. I can't handle more than 4 pints now

That’s where bottles of beer come in handy. And the heightened adrenaline/fear between Shields Road and Partick help to sober you up as well.
