Is it worth going abroad for 2 days. Can’t get of work longer. But seems as cheap as alternatives In the Uk.

North West. Sometimes London/Cambridge

If it means getting out of Blackpool, go for it

You can do alot in two days if you get an early flight out and a late flight back.

Dubai & Nottingham

it’s not enough for me but some people do extreme day trips and go for one day even so if it works for you go for it. I like three or four days.

No you can’t. You need to consider how far it, wherever you go, is from the airport and does it have good transport links.

I suggest booking accommodation before you go. You don't want to waste time trying to find somewhere to stay.

Guided walking tours or hop on hop off buses are good for sightseeing in a short time frame

Travel man is a good shout.

Depends on what you want to do in your 2 days. Sit on a beach, site see, history, action packed or chill out?

Next week is supposed to be glorious weather so if you are chasing the sun, stay here.

Base your choice on what flies from John Lennon Airport early in the morning

I do them wherever I go. There are a few sites/apps for free walking tours. They are great for finding out about the city.

My Mrs and I recently went to Dublin for the first time for a couple of days and had a great time and would recommend it...

I hope you enjoy your break where ever you go....

Yes, as long as you aren't spending more than two or three of hours in the air.

You can pack so much into 48 hrs in another country. Plan ahead and create an awesome schedule of activities. The only thing is that it could be exhausting and you may need a holiday when you get back

Absolutely go for it!

This wouldn't work for you, location eise, but I'd do a weekend in Cape Town (overnight flights from LHR).Anything is possible if the logistics work for you.

Enjoy your 2 day adventure.

11 and a half hour flights each way for a two day holiday is too much travelling for me.
