Unread message but nothing there

There are a lot of posts regarding missing Unread message, but I think I've sussed it out.

I had a message which I hadn't opened and I've noticed today the person has deleted their account.

Therefore message has gone from inbox and no longer available to access

Logging out and back in usually clears the notification for you 💜

Done that, many times.

Still there.

I think it will clear in its own time, but it was driving me nuts 🤓

We’ve had it where we’ve blocked a profile and then deleted their message as unread and it shows as one message in your mailbox for about 2 weeks before it drops off…it’s happened twice now!

Glitch in the matrix
