I'm currently listening to Forth Wing on Audible and loving it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves dragons and fantasy type stories.

What are you currently reading/listening to and your recommendations?

I'm totally obsessed with the fourth wing Series.

I can recommend a kingdom of lies series - Sankia Stark.

One dark window duology.

Plated prisoner series.

Oh god yeah, I do read also. But the book I'm reading is generally LitRPG game based books rather than the longer books like Gane of Thrones lol! X

Would also add quicksilver (second book out in a few weeks), and if you fancy a little bit darker but satirical then the butcher and blackbird series

In the west.

I’m listening to Nutshell by Ian McEwan I’m not sure about it yet as the narrator in the book is a bit different.

The actual narrator is Rory Kinnear, he is fantastic at it.

She’s very witty and the small, now mostly forgotten, details of daily life are fascinating. It’s also interesting to read the criticisms of the government response, inviting parallels with recent events such as Covid.

I'm currently reading The Women of Troy by Pat Barker - the second in her trilogy about (funnily enough) the women of Troy. Loved the first one - Silence of the Girls - but struggling to engage with this one.

The Quicksilver series is a planned trilogy, with an additional 2 books planned for side characters (if one of those is not Carrion I shall sulk).

I just Finished Twenty Years Later by Charlie Donlea. It's a murder mystery where the suspect died on 9/11 and her remains were identified 20 years later.

Also finished Sunrise on the Reaping, which is the newest Hunger Game prequel.

I might start Oynax Storm next, that's the 3rd book in the Fourth Wing series.
