My ninja has arrived

Ny ninja cooker has arrived several days earlier than advised.

What should I cook in it first? Obviously it would be something I'd like but any tips for a virgin - it's my first airfryer. Do I just need to focus on oil, as a key difference from a microwave oven?

I'm assuming it will be fast and easy to setup

I don't tend to use any oil in mine.

You can cook most things in it but be prepared for lots of cleaning as it gets very greasy.

Make sure you buy some liners for the inside or you will be cleaning it for ages

Sausages in the actifry are nice but with liner chicken nice as well

It's still in the box . It was somewhat of an impulse purchase. I didn't manage to get it, in last year's black Friday deals but got it even cheaper for Easter.

I'm totally clueless about them and much in life, I guess

But I now know to get liners for it. I assume Morrisons sells them or it. Just looked and they have one for £4. I don't fancy lots of unnecessary cleaning, so I'm glad I've not rushed to use it

Bedford... (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

Brought a dual ninja on Friday and used every day since including roast on Sunday... the microwave, toaster and steamer are now looking resentful and threatening to move out!

Enjoy your purchase!

I don't use any oil. Line the bottom every time or it gets gross real fast 💜

Good point, you can also make cakes in airfryers

Thanks Prey! I'm ignorant about them. I'd guessed from the name airfryer that they used oil. I'm not a fan of oily food, so that's a bonus

It's going to stay in the box until the weekend. Someone suggested a toastie, which could be delicious

Reading

Try to avoid sprays in it like fry light, they get very sticky and are a pain to wash

Most things seem to cook OK without oil

That sounds like a good idea - perhaps I should have gone for the ice cream one

Hi OP, I believe a full chicken cooked upside down for 45mins & then turn it for the last 15mins is Delicious 😋 (all the juices gather in the white meat this way)
