So what are your hobbies?

I am a big gamer, and I think too big, so I think I need to get away from screens.

Im looking for either inspiration or an idea to pinch (depending on how pessimistic you are!)

I've got loads of hobbies ranging from gardening and painting to up cycling furniture and archaeology.

What are your interests, do you like to be active or do you prefer more restful activities?

Outside of being a dad and dog owner, I like studying. Recently finished my third degree, and gonna do a Cipp/E exam in the summer for some further professional development. I also like reading, jigsaws, any sport you can think of, writing and a good TV series.

I consider myself more interesting than that particular paragraph

Honestly, since retiring I barely have time for any hobbies, I do a bit of reading, cooking, but there’s just not enough hours in the day. I have just bought a fender jazz bass so I’m hoping to find some time to play that & might start going to a local open mic night

"Outside of being a dad and dog owner, I like studying. Recently finished my third degree, "

That’s impressive. Can I ask? Are you able to get student loans? Still? I really want to do BA or am I in fine art (photography) but the fees are ridiculously high, I’m not sure if I can get more funding as I already have a Masters, a BSc and half an MBA. I’ve tried to get a decision but they just keep telling me to apply and find out them which doesn’t really work for me.

In the west.

I like working in my garden, I’m not sure I’d call myself a gardener though. Just the other day I got my family tree stuff out and started in it last night.

I also like taking photos either with my camera or with my phone. I quite often post photos to the BBC WeatherWatchers site and I’ve had a few that have been the Editors Pick.

I do pole, swim, cycle and run, read and enjoy gaming. I play flute and violin although I’ve let both drop over last 12 months, need to pick them back up.

Outdoors, I love going to Scotland and walking, bothying and wild camping in the wilderness. Indoors it's mainly model making - ships, railway layout and military figures.

" I’m not sure if I can get more funding as I already have a Masters, a BSc and half an MBA. "

You can get a student loan up to 61 but only for a first degree and you already have one.
