Just thought I'd do a post to see everyone is doing with their Mental Health. Mine has been in the dumps a bit lately, I think personal and work life is catching up with me. I'm slowly getting there though.

So this is just a post to check in on everyone's Mental Health and see how you're all doing.

Keep moving forward

Menopause is kicking the stuffing out of me right now but I make a point of continuing at the gym, eating well and sleeping when I can. Down days are just that, I don't tend to fight it. It's a case of acknowledging it, crying if I need too while knowing it doesn't last forever

Ive got a lot going on health wise which at times is taking its toll but I’m keeping myself as mentally and emotionally fit as I possibly can.

I’m so lucky that I have amazing people in my life who are the biggest support to me and especially some friends from here so all in all I’m doing good despite everything that’s going on ❤️

I'm good, but being a carer for someone else with issues is demanding and draining.

They do yeah, I have been open with a few colleagues about work related stress. I work for the emergency services. I've had MH support previously. So may do it again

I won't bore people with my mental health, but if you are suffering, please seek help if you haven't already. If only to chat to someone.

Mah mate don't think you're boring anyone with your mental health. Too many guys bottled it up and think we shouldn't bore or talk about issues.

Yeah think I will use it again and maybe talk to someone close to me. I just feel a bit stupid and angry with myself and it is causing me to feel pretty low.

Glad you're getting there, OP.

Mine's been a little wobbly for a couple of months, but it's not too terrible. Right now I'm a bit burnt out from trying to manage an autistic teenager's frequent meltdowns during our holiday. A couple of days of hibernation and some evening walks in the woods will reset me.

Mine has been at an all time low for the last couple of months. Resulted in a mini 'breakdown' and being encouraged to take some time off work. Work have been amazing, ensuring I'm well taken care of and working out how to make my job more manageable.

Hubby is my rock and is bearing the brunt of it which makes me feel really guilty because its then the scene friends that get the fun side of me as this is my only hobby. Trying to get that balance right atm and taking a break from it all.

Gp has been really helpful too and I have accept I may actually be getting old and be in perimenopause so am trialling medication I always hoped I would never need.

Trying to balance life is just hard atm but I'm trying to take more time for myself. Have joined the gym, just meed motivation to get there now, and I'm reading a lot more. The sunshine will help.

Hugs to everyone struggling or supporting those that are

I’m having a kinda decent run. Adding HRT into the mix with all my other meds seems to have helped bring back the me that answers people back and tells people what I actually think. This isn’t always a good thing long term but it feels great at the time.
