Morning all and happy Sunday

So I was wondering / pondering this morning … when you get out of bed…do you make it straight away? Is it your first ‘achievement’ of the day?

Or do you just leave it ? Maybe make it after you’re ready and sorted for the day?

Curious as always

Straightening a quilt doesn't take much effort. I do it immediately.

I make it bit by bit as I move around the room gathering clothes and getting dressed. It's not an achievement, it is the tidiest nicest room in the house that is relaxing so I work too keep it that way.

I fold the duvet down to the bottom of bed & air it for a few hours with window open & straighten the sheet & fluff up the pillows 👍

Make it straight away. I like the idea of turning the duvet down, but my cats sleep on my bed so that wouldn't achieve much!

That sounds like heavy lifting manual labour… I prefer to leave making the bed to the duvet fairy…

Is it not an achievement in possibly a simplest form?

This seems a religion I've not caught on to. Sometimes I will, sometimes I wont, it depends how rushed I am, what I have to do, if I can be arsed, if I've had enough tea

Always make the bed in a morning. I had that drilled into me as a child.

The only deviation from this, is when the sheets are changed. The bed remains stripped, usually until bedtime, when the horror of having to make it when you're tired is realised.
