I'm so disappointed with it. Nothing at all like the original Gladiator. I think I'm going to pretend there's no Gladiator 2 and stick with the original.

I do the same with Terminator because after 1 and 2. The entire franchise fell off.

I watched it the other week and agree it’s not a patch on the original.

I thought it was gratuitous in the violence, as if they felt a need to beat the first film and the ending felt rather flat.

I’m curious to know how they think they’d get sharks into the Colosseum in reality.

Not something I’d rush to rewatch.

Agree op. Denzil Washington is a great actor but not cast right in this. Couple of ok action sequences but not a patch on first film.

You should watch the TV series Spartacus full frontal nudity orgies loads of violence blood everywhere. And lots and lots of fit sweaty men.
